It challenges presenters to explore beyond conventional practices, pushing the boundaries of teaching and learning. We invite submissions that delve deeper into these areas, proposing novel solutions and approaches that propel ELT education forward.

APAC welcomes proposals that can contribute to the theme of the Convention, and encourages presenters to delve deeper into their areas of expertise, fostering meaningful discussions and insights that contribute to the advancement of ELT education.

  1. Innovative Pedagogical Practices: Explore groundbreaking teaching methodologies and instructional strategies that go beyond traditional approaches, fostering deeper engagement and learning outcomes.

  2. Technology Integration in ELT Education: Examine the integration of emerging technologies such as AI, virtual reality, or gamification to enhance language learning experiences and outcomes.

  3. Diversity and Inclusion in ELT Classrooms: Discuss strategies for creating inclusive learning environments that celebrate cultural diversity and accommodate learners with diverse backgrounds and abilities.

  4. Assessment for Learning Enhancement: Propose innovative assessment methods and tools that provide meaningful feedback and promote continuous improvement in ELT education.

  5. Multimodal Learning Environments: Investigate the use of multimodal resources and materials to cater to different learning styles and preferences, facilitating deeper understanding and retention of language skills.

  6. Professional Development and Teacher Training: Share effective approaches and best practices for ongoing professional development and training programs that empower ELT educators to excel in their roles.

FORMATS AVAILABLE 

Contributions can be made in one of the following formats, both online and face-to-face: 

  • methodological presentations of 45 minutes + time for questions

  • workshops of 45 minutes + time for questions

  • short presentations online or cAPACsules, 20-minute long videos to present teaching ideas or materials, research outcomes, experiences or methodological presentations.

Bear in mind that you can score points for future oposicions both by attending the convention and presenting at it. And, above all, you’ll be participating in a great community of teachers!)
